SPENCER
Spencer is a handsome 6-year-old German Shepherd mix with kind eyes, a gentle spirit, and a heart that is ready to belong to someone again.
This special boy has all the qualities that make German Shepherds such incredible companions. He is intelligent, eager to please, and happiest when he is spending time with his people. Whether he’s playing ball, enjoying a walk, or simply relaxing nearby, Spencer finds joy in life’s simple moments and the company of those he loves.
Like many shepherds, Spencer forms deep bonds with his family and thrives on connection. He is the kind of dog who wants to be included, who quietly stays close, and who will be a faithful companion through both everyday routines and life’s biggest adventures.
Spencer gets along well with other dogs and can peacefully coexist with cats. He has a calm, easygoing nature that allows him to fit comfortably into many different home environments.
With a moderate energy level, Spencer would thrive in a home that will continue to provide companionship, structure, and opportunities to be part of the family. His intelligence and willingness to please make him a wonderful partner for continued learning and a rewarding companion to share life with.
As is common with many German Shepherds, Spencer is naturally protective, loyal, and devoted to those he loves. He would do best with a family that appreciates the special bond shepherds create with their people and understands the commitment that comes with welcoming one into their home.

ADOPTION:
The cost of adoption is $250 and a $250 training fee (payable to the trainer) due at the time of adoption. The training fee includes a plan tailored specifically to the dog and family’s needs.
MTGSR believes that training is an important part of building a strong bond between dogs and their families and helping set everyone up for long-term success.
