George
George is an extremely handsome approximately 9-year-old German Shepherd with a beautiful traditional black-and-tan coat and that classic shepherd look.
He is a very even-keeled dog with a sweet disposition and a moderate energy level. George is friendly, calm, and easy to be around, with the kind of steady personality that makes him especially easy to love.
He is good with children and rides well in the car. George would probably be happiest as the only dog in the home. He has reportedly been around cats and mostly ignored them, although careful introductions would still be important.
At approximately 9 years old, George is a senior, so his family should be prepared for the health needs that can come with an older dog. He still has plenty of life to enjoy and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, steady German Shepherd.
ADOPTION:
The cost of adoption is $250 and a $250 training fee (payable to the trainer) due at the time of adoption. The training fee includes a plan tailored specifically to the dog and family’s needs.
MTGSR believes that training is an important part of building a strong bond between dogs and their families and helping set everyone up for long-term success.
